6th December, 1919]. APPLICATIONS FOR LEASES FOR OYSTER CULTURE. IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the undermentioned persons have applied to lease for Oyster Culture Apportions of land set opposite their respective names as mentioned herounder. Tracings, showing the positions of the several portions enumerated, may be inspected at this Department (Fisheries Branch) daily, excepting Saturdays, between 11 and 3 o'clock, and on Saturdays between 11 and 12 o'clock. Any person may, by memorial to the Chief Secretary, within thirty days from the date of this notice, and on grounds to be stated in such memorial, pray that leases of the portions may not be granted. All objections on acoount of interference with alleged hauling grounds must bo accompanied by a statutory declaration by one or more of the licensed fishermen so objecting, that they have pcraonally koown bona fide hauls to have been made ovr the area during the preceding twelve months. The lease is subject to the Fisheries Acts and the Begvdataons thereunder, and to the special conditions, provisions, exceptions, •ovenants, and reservations set out at the foot of the Schedule. A certified copy of the plan showing the boundaries of the area leased, together with the license (or permit) authorising occupation thereof, may be obtained by the lessee from the Fisheries Branch, Chief Secretary's Department, upon application.
