Second Generation   2.  Alexander BRAND (William-1) was born in 1766. He died in 1819 at the age of 53.   Alexander BRAND and Jean ANDERSON were married. Jean ANDERSON, daughter of Robert ANDERSON and Jean PIRIE, Jean ANDERSON was born in 1771 in Montrose, Angus, Scotland. She died on 17 Feb 1837 at the age of 66 in Montrose, Angus, Scotland.   Alexander BRAND and Jean ANDERSON had the following children:   +3 i. Helen BRAND, married Robert INGLIS, 28 Nov 1830, Montrose, Angus, Scotland; died 9 Oct 1884, Montrose, Angus, Scotland. 4 ii. James BRAND was born in 1793. He died in 1843 at the age of 50. 5 iii. Jane BRAND was born in 1795. She died in 1842 at the age of 47. 6 iv. Mary BRAND was born in 1798. She died in 1836 at the age of 38. +7 v. Alexander BRAND, born 17 Jul 1800, Montrose, Angus, Scotland; married Ann SHARP; died 26 Nov 1873. 8 vi. Jessie BRAND was born in 1808. He died in 1868 at the age of 60.
